I just finished listening to the podcast. I appreciate that you talked about authenticity and sharing parts of your personal life with kids. Obviously, there needs to be discretion and boundaries around this type of sharing, but sharing parts of your life allows kids to see you as a person instead of an object.
I’d like to make one other point. When the kid comes up after class to tell me what they had for dinner, I need to be genuinely interested in what that student is sharing.
